Muybridge Structure
The transformation of Muybridge Structure into its final three-dimensional representation was driven by an exploration of movement as a spatial agent, focusing on the human figure’s relationship to form. Grounded in the theme of design and the human body, the project leveraged digital tools (Illustrator, Photoshop, and Rhino) alongside analog collage and photography techniques to map and analyze recorded body movement. By breaking down the concepts of frame, sequence, and interval, and drawing inspiration from pioneers like Muybridge, the process reinterpreted sequential diagrams of movement into layered spatial constructs. This hybrid workflow not only captured the dynamic interplay between body and space but also redefined how movement informs the structure and identity of design.
